How to deal with multi license metrics

Hello everyone ,

we have a metric that is counted per user and per installation on a device. 100 users on 10 machines may access the tool.

Is it possible to set the metrics in SNOW according to users and installations on a device?

Hi Julian, to get a clear understanding of how this could be setup in Snow License Manager, I would like to know the following: Will the 100 users be concurrent or named users? Will the computers be counted by installation or based on usage? Based on this information, I can give you more input about how this can be setup. /marcel

    Hi Julian, wouldn't it then be good to let the application be licensed as 'per installation'? You could cover the installations with that. If this application is running on with a license server, you can think about monitoring the license server to get information about how the users behave.But from a compliance perspective, checking installations would be sufficient. To connect license servers, you can use our product called Snow for Engineering . If this could be interesting for you, please reach out to your Account Manager. /marcel
