Best way to hide reports on SPE

Hello, Hope someone can provide some insight into this - custom reports in Snow get added into two tables, tblReport and tblReportSecurity, obviously security lets you define which roles have access to the report. Unfortunately, Administrator always has access - which makes sense, but if you create an Administrator role for a customer and remove the reports under the report section of the role, it doesn't remove them, even though that administrator group isn't in report security as having access to it. Is it possible to remove the report from appearing under Reports as you would with other roles, with a custom Administrator role?

Hi Laim, how do you create the custom report? have you used the variables declare @cid int = {0} declare @UserID int ={1}

  Hi ‌, Currently I use cid = {0} which means that only a specific customer can open it which is great, however, the report still appears under other customers accounts they just can't open it - if that makes sense? I'm wanting to have it so Report A is only visible and openable by customer 1, whereas at the moment it's visible by everyone and only openable by Customer 1. Does that make sense? Thanks Laim

    When a platform admin creates a report by choosing a customer, that report will ALWAYS be visible to that "Admin" regardless of whatever customer he selects in the platform. This is as design. That report will even NOT be visible to other platform admins.

    Hi Detlev, At the moment, all system admins can see it. What we wanted to do was create a role similar to system admin (like license administrator basically) but one that we can choose which reports they can see in the reports view, ? Thanks Laim

    Hi, Just wondering if this ever got resolved. Facing a similar issue with a custom report, ideally only wanting it visible to one customer, or just visible to me (at the moment everyone can see the report)? Thanks, Connor.

    Hi Connor, Still have this issue. We have about 9 custom reports in our SPE platform, a few of which are for one customer, however all customers can see the report exists. Would be nice to have CID visibility column, to be honest.

Hi All With our SPE platform I just created a new admin role for my customers. This admin role didn't have any access to SMACC, and also only the reports that I wanted to share. They therefore don't get access to these reports at all as they aren't full admins. Thanks Adam

  Hi Adam, The only issue with this is that you end up in a mess where you have multiple admin groups, the full one, one for each custom report, and one without any - we did it for one of our platforms and it became a headache to maintain, you also have the problem that if any new features come out, you need to assign them to those admin groups or they don't get them, Laim
