IBM Product Part# Needs to be updated in Snow

Hi Team,

I have observed that there are so many IBM Product SKU needs to be updated in SNOW SRC. We are facing challenge while uploading the entitlement in Snow. It's request to Snow team to work on updation activity of IBM Software Part/Catalogue  (SKU)

We are always happy to support you all. We are creating the request to update the unrecognized part.

I hope, Team will take this as feedback & work on it to improve the service.

There are so many Product name listed under single SKU. is this the common behavior or something going wrong?

    hi Somnath, The reason for the their being multiple Sku's for a product is because actually there are a lot. Each product has multiple metrics and maintenance renewal codes, all relating back to the actual Application. Some products have the same application but different Sku's, and some some areas of IBM can be one application for several different uses but each with its own set of Sku's. The Sku's are helpful but in most cases using the application name would be the recommended way and then as you add the application within the License you can select the Sku. i hope that helps Steve

    • Hi Stephen, Thanks for your kind help, IBM Products having the #SKU as Primary Key factory however there are multiple SKU's are not yet updated under Snow. I & Team working with Snow to get it updated by Filling the SRC template. There are so many IBM Products those are having  Same Product Name but Different Licensing Metrics however Snow is capable to Import one Product with single Licensing metrics. I have already raised same Point in Snow Idea Portal. I hope, It will get sorted out soon. Thanks for the time & kind help. I appreciate your time. Somnath N IBM Licensing Expert

    Hi Somnath, please support us with filling in as much info as possible in the "Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) Template".  You find it at  www.snowsoftware.com/download - on the very bottom.  This file should be send in via Snow Support as a ticket and will be further processed by our Data Intelligence Team. If you think there is something wrong with multiple software under a single SKU, this can also be checked via a support ticket. Many thanks and best regards, Alex
