Override button no longer works?
Hi, We've recently updated to SLM v8.3.00 .  I've noticed that in the SLM SMACC, the "Override Application" button no longer seems to do anything:   When I press the button (after selecting an application definition) nothing happens. There's no error message, nothing appears to change on the screen, it just looks like the button is not hooked up to anything. Is this a common problem, or is it just us? Thanks, David

    Interestingly, I've just noticed that the "Override Bundle" button still works fine, it appears this bug only happens when you try to override an Application .

      Roland - why does the end user have to create a ticket with Snow, when you've confirmed there is an issue and you work for Snow? It would seem the resolution would come faster if noted internally? I'm experiencing weeks of backlogged tickets and this seems like a software issue. Thanks for the clarity.

        Hello Randy, I am not aware of the status of our support at the moment. Possily your tickets need some more time due to complexities in those issues. All issues will be solved, that I know. Greetings, Roland

        Just an update.  Snow Support have also confirmed this issue, and are going to create a problem report on this.  They mention that right clicking the application and selecting "Override Application" continues to work instead of using the button.

          Unfortunately, Snow Support have closed my problem report for this problem.  They tell me it won't be fixed in the near future and will be recorded as a known issue instead.  I must admit that I'm a little bit shocked, because it looks like a very simple fix.   So I have asked them if they might reconsider, on the basis that customers could begin to lose confidence in the product if there are buttons which just don't work. I'm not sure if it is very likely they will re-open it though.
