License Import in SLM

I am trying to import licenses in SLM (8.1.1) in my demo snow instance for Axway. I have only application name details with me which is one of the mandatory fields for license import. But when i checked under application definition in SMACC there are not enough products available for Axway at present.

So when performing a license import for 10 products i get only 1 recognize whereas 9 licenses have incomplete information. Is there any way to get these 9 products mapped to the correct products.

Hi ‌, When looking in SMACC, do you mean the applications are not recognised and are under the Unassigned Applications? If Snow does not recognise the applications, you will need to pull the .exe information from Unassigned Applications in SMACC and send an SRS (Software Recognition Service) to the Snow Support Team and they will update the Global SRS Database, then you can assign the licenses to the correct applications. Send the Support Team an email and they will be able to send you the SRS template you need to fill out. ( support@snowsoftware.com ) Thanks, Laim

  You can also download the template from Snow's website. The templates are located under Resources - Product Documentation. The SRS templates are at the bottom of the screen. Here's the link | Snow Software There are 3 templates available depending on what you are needing to be added to the SRS database. Here's a brief definition of each one: Snow SRS-Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) Template - Request to add a Manufacturer SKU to an application. If the application does not exist in the database then an additional template will be needed to add the new application. Snow SRS-Cloud Application Template - Request to add a cloud-based application to the database. Snow SRS-Application_Template - Request to add a new application to the database. This is probably the most commonly used template and includes the data required for inventory information.
