How can users / accounts belonging to the same person be consolidated?
Hi All, We have the following scenario, which in general is not new to us as we have seen this in several environments before: There are persons who have multiple Active Directory Accounts such as DOMAIN1\My.Account, DOMAIN2\My.Account and Domain3\MyAccount.Admin From our point of view, this leads to wrong results for user-based licensing if you do not consolidate the license consumption of those accounts. It also affects reporting e.g. when it comes to “show me all computers of specific person”. Please advise how we can consolidate accounts and/or license consumption of a single person.   Many thanks in advance. Sven

  • Hi Sven, I recently had a similar problem as my company had 4 domains as part of a merger, thankfully they have all been moved across to one domain but this did cause an issue which is very similar to yours. Would be good if there was a way you could attach User accounts to a master account for that User as that would help fix this issue. Cheers Harry
    • Hi Harry, Thanks for your reply. The domains we have won't be consolidated, some of them were created for security reasons. That said, time won't solve this issue (in our case). Cheers Sven
