Can Snow License Manager use Integrated authentication?

Hi All,

Was wondering if there is a way to get the Snow License Manager log on to be able to look at the AD account the user is signed into on that machine and automatically bypass the logging on prompt for Snow License Manager?

That being said we do have our Snow License Manager setup to use Windows Authentication which is wonderful but I've been asked if we can make it even easier!

Hi Harry, Currently it's only possible to configure Windows Authentication as you already mentioned. However we do provide possibilities as enable support for federated authentication using SAML in a Snow License Manager environment. Hi Harry I am using SLM v8, and I don't enter username and password anymore. I have followed this guide: USER GUIDE SETTING UP WINDOWS AUTHENTICATION Product Snow License Manager, Version 8.0 Release date 2016-05-16 Document date 2016-05-16 You need to create new users (<domain>\username), and you loose some settings for the user (saved reports ...) I got Snow support to copy all my reports to my new userID. I have had two issues(not able to logon) in a year, and is overall happy with the solution /regards Simon

How can we implement AD integration if we are running with two or multiple trusted domains in the environment? It is working on the same domain where the Snow server build up, but not for other domain however they are trusted.
