install script help

hi all!!!

I'm a new bee to installshield. I'm calling a VBScript from my Installscript application using LaunchAppAndWait in hidden mode. While I'm running this can I display a progress bar dialog box because currently it seems that my application setup has hanged when its still running the script in background.

Hi,
You can use the function 'SdShowMsg' to disaply a message box which tells the user to 'Please Wait' possibly.
