Install InstallShield 2012 LimitedEdition on VS2012 ExpressEdition does not work
I have installed and operational VisualStudio2012 ExpressEdition on Windows8 32 bit and now want to add InstallShield 2012 LimitedEdition.
I have registered, downloaded and installed the InstallShield2012SPRLimitedEdition.exe Version 19.0.0.0
After this, nothing happended. I tried to restart VS several times, and also restarted my computer. Whatever I do, the Other Project Type node does not appear in New Projects window.
I must be doing something wrong, please help!
VS details below:
Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows Desktop
Version 11.0.51106.01 Update 1
Microsoft .NET Framework
Version 4.5.50709
Installed Version: Desktop Express

:eek:Thank you for the reply. It is not acceptable that Microsoft removed this feature. Anyway, this should have been stated more clearly on the website or in the installation documentation. I spent a couple of hours in vain. Will look for an open source alternative.
