Dynamic URL for packages in Suite Installer
Hello
We are trying to create a bootstrapper, which would download prerequisites from the web from a variable URL.
Is it possible to do so using Installshield 2013 Suite Installer ?
We tried to use a property in the download URL of a package, but this doesnt work.
Is it possible to modify a package download URL after the build ?
Thank you very much in advance.

The suite installer's Update URL (Releases view, Setup.exe tab) allows you to download a replacement setup.exe that could have updated URLs to package files. Alternately you could set up the package files' URLs as redirects that you can control separately. Note that in most cases the full MD5 of a file will be verified, so if the content of a file has changed you will need a new setup.exe with a new MD5. This approach requires using the Update URL setting. See Adding Support for Automatic Updates to an Advanced UI or Suite/Advanced UI Installation for more information.
