Apache Software Foundation Axis 1.*

As part of the data feed from the Technopedia Data Catalog API our team received new EOL and Obsolete information for Apache Software Foundation on 10/16/2021.

After review Axis 1.x definitely seems to be EOL but our team is not finding any supporting documentation on the matter. There will be substantial investment to migrate to alternatives.  I would like to know if there is more concrete information from BDNA before assigning an EOL date for this product.

Hello @COrlandella ,

I reached out to our lifecycle team to look into this.

Upon their investigation, the specific EOL date for Axis 1 is not available on the public Internet.

However, from their research, they have found that Axis 1 is now inactive.

We have marked all the releases of Axis 1 as de-supported.

This update will be available as a part of Technopedia version 2021.12.29.

I hope this helps. Feel free to reach out if additional assistance is required.

Best regards,

Allen
