Toddmichael Janiszewski asked a question.
Optimal methods for Datadog license creation and PO mapping.
I have a very complex purchase of entitlements for the product Datadog (https://www.datadoghq.com/) with a quote consisting of 14 line items with various quantities of metrics (some host, some per GP, etc.).
The PO cut for this doesn't really equal the quote, as it was only for quantities broken out into really 3 line items for annual yearly payments.
If you use the product, I'd love any advice you may have on how to create the licenses and map the various items to the appropriate metrics.

Do you have the SKU available, and does Flexera recognize it and assist in its processing to generate licenses with the appropriate use rights to represent the entitlement correctly, or are you manually processing the PO?
I think the forum members will need a bit more details, e.g. the SKU to be able to provide guidance.
Thanks,

No. The SKUs are unrecognized. I manually enter in POs from the PO, Credit Card, or Quote.
Here is the quote I am trying to enter.
Items which are "priced per host" or "price per device" may be appropriately modeled by licenses with a type of "Device", "Node locked" or similar.
Other items on this list may best be modeled by licenses with a type of "Custom metric" where you can manually calculate and record consumption details based on whatever the appropriate metric is.
