When the Inventory beacon is automatically updated, is the server running the beacon restarted?

My client plans to select the mode "Always use the latest version (currently release-number)" to automate the beacon upgrade process.

Does the server need to be restarted every time an upgrade is performed in this mode?

Hi Mitsuki,

After successful beacon update server does not restarts automatically nor it's required to restart.
When you set it for automatic beacon update do keep these things in check:
Do not leave the beacon application open when no one is using it. (Beacon update while beacon application is open can lead to error's).
Use N-1 or N-2 beacon version in order to avoid any new bug or unknown issue's.
