It's been a while since I've done this Mauro, however, a 79MB snowpack file tends to decompress to about 4x the size. I once had an 80MB snowpack file that once decompressed, was nearly 750MB.
Are you doing it via the SnowInventoryFileExtractor GUI, or via the Command Line? When I was doing this frequently, I found that doing it through the GUI was causing Out of Memory errors a lot more than doing it via the command line.
SnowInventoryFileExtractor.exe extract namehere.snowpack c:\decompressed-output
Both fail, however the labs have been able to pinpoint the offending system, a huge fileserver.
We're trying to trim down the scan scope to what's needed - posting here in case someone else are affected by the same issue.
Thanks!
