It can take some hours before they get processed, but if you don't see any trace of the data after 24 hours I would recommend contacting Flexera Support, and ask for assistance tracking it.
Did you include all the CSV files (although most of them merely containing the header row) in the zip file? (All CSV files need to be included for it to succeed (AFAIK)...)

Yes, you can use the Custom Inventory Importer and also the DPv5 extractor can be used, but the latter is a bit more cumbersome.

I do not see any import template created for Network Gear using the Custom Inventory Importer.
