Hi, I would like to know how to change the point rule set of SQL license to calculate as First 4 cores consumes 1 license and each additional 2 cores consumes 2 license. Eg: Total cores = 8, Consumed = 1 (4 cores) + 1 (2 cores) + 1 (2 cores) = 3 license.

Please be aware that some Microsoft SQL Server SKUs have built-in coverage of 2 cores per license when purchasing, and that again depending on the SKUs used to generate the license that it may already incorporate this rule into the product use rights of the license. And it will likely get associated to the built-in Windows Server Core points rule set that then would apply properly.

Anyway, if you find that this doesn't work properly for your use case, then please either provide more details about SKUs, product use rights and consumption seen in your use case here, or please feel free to create a support case, if you think that Flexera's built-in content isn't correct or doesn't apply to your use case.
