Hi Forum,
We have found out that linux agents are not running from last 2 weeks when we checked the logs we get to know they are trying to download policy from another beacon and getting failed.
Please suggest some solution as these prod servers and this behaviour is in all linux servers.
Hi,
Hostname lookup is failing in your case. Just check if beacon URL is getting resolve hostname to IP while pinging the url from agent machine. Also if you are able to telnet on beacon port from Ip address.
made a hostfile entry in system as a workaround & check.

We have observed that anonymous authentication is disabled on IIS manager which brought back most server by enabled it. However there were few servers where we have to manually download policy as suggested by you .

Just make hostfile entry & then try
mgspolicy -t Machine
ndtrack -t machine
