Does Beacon Active Directory importer delete Subnets that no longer exist in AD?

Does Beacon Active Directory importer delete Subnets that no longer exist in AD?

We have subnets read in from Active Directory and assigned to Beacons.  Do these subnets get automatically removed from FNMS if the subnet is removed from AD and is that reflected in our Beacon assignments?  We have "Update automatically" set to True for these subnets.

  • Hi Kevin,

The answer is yes. If a subnet is deleted from Active Directory, it will be deleted when the AD data are imported into FNMS.

This is independent of the fact if a Beacon has been assigned to the subnet or not. You can find some screenshots that I took when testing this using FNMS 2020 R2 in the attached PDF document.
