Most frequently Used Device for User Report

Consider this scenario:

Two users share a Windows 10 desktop DesktopA that has the snow inventory agent on it
UserA is logged in 3 days a week
UserB is logged in 2 days a week

Snow will naturally show the most frequent user as the UserA as this user is logged on 3 days a week. That said, the most frequently used device of both users is DesktopA.

So is it possible to report on the following:

the device each user uses most frequently

Interesting! But what need or scenario will that cover exactly?
If you really need, you could use the report called "Devices/Computers per user" and work the most frequent Device/Computer for each user using a formula.

Hi, two details on this:

"Most Frequent" is based on counting the total number of logons (limited by the setting "MOSTFREQUENTUSER_USELOGINPERIOD") https://docs.snowsoftware.com/snow-license-manager/en/UUID-16a4fa1b-4213-8885-6da1-ed66a37d757a.html

If you want a report that lists users and all the devices they are most frequent on, you can easily select this criteria in the report.

The report now shows all USERS, and the devices they are most frequent user on:

A note about datasets:
When you run reports from the USERS section, your perspective starts with the user. These reports would not list any computers with zero users.
You can also run a report from the COMPUTERS report section, which also shows the field "most frequent user". These reports would not list any users who have never used an inventoried computer.
So just something to be aware of when you are comparing total number of computers or users in the results.
