Hi, I´m trying to see if we have any clients with SQL server installations that requires license. Are there any std reports that I can use ?
I tried to use Applications per computer report and filtered with License Requirement=yes. But that didn´t work. I got a lot of clients that looked like they needed SQL license but in fact they didn´t. The list showed that this sql version requires license but do not considerate if this specific client needs it.
Anyone that have any advice of how to do this ?

Have a look at the 'License Tracking per Computer' standard report. You can can add columns such as Coverage and License Requirement to find non-compliant devices.
It's worth keeping in mind the environment that your computers are on. You can use the OU structure to highlight test/dev devices and/or use exclusion rules to remove these from compliance calculations.
Like Laura already mentioned the License tracking per Computer is a great report to see the calculated license requirement and coverage.😀
Especially for MS SQL Servers you additionally need to consider, that you also do have the latest scan-microsoft-SQLServer.snow-ps1 within your Inventory Agent. This is necessary to detect to SQL Server Edition, that causes different license requirements.
