In addition to what has been mentioned, can I ask what version of Snow Inventory you are running? There was a change to some procedures that are run as part of the DUJ in version v.6.9.2 of Snow Inventory Server that appear to have had a signifcant impact on our runtimes (down from 10+hours to around 2-3 hours).

Look in the SQL tables for the job log and see which step of the DUJ is taking up all the time.
This will give us more indication of where your issues possibly are.
