Hi, We are trying to install SNOW Oracle scanner on RHEL5 servers. The Oracle scanner ver 5 document says there are known issues with Java Runtime Env 1.7.0_07. Can we use java version 1.7.0.131-2.6.9.0 ? Please advise.
That version should work - the only reason Snow calls out 1.7.0_07 is it had massive security flaws and basically didn't work and broke lots. It was well documented publicly at the time of release.
