Where do I find documentation for setting up data (inventory) forwarding?

We have a vCenter at AWS on a non-routable IP range (192.168.x.x). It's a legacy setup and we can't move anything without breaking a host of other things. I need to get the inventory from the assets on that vCenter. I have the vCenter connector configured for it but of course I get nothing.

Jelle,
Thank you. While looking through the documentation, I find the Service Gateway instructions but I also find instructions for a Standalone Receiver. I see the differences but why would you choose one over the other?
