Hi all, I am wondering if there is a possibility to change languages for application categories (i.e. CAD, Development & Administration). As I understand the categories are pre-defined by SNOW in the database, but is there a chance to "translate" them?

An application type is a classification based on function, according to the United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC). This enables listing of for example all virus applications in the IT environment, without having to know the manufacturer or the application name. The application types are administered via the Software Recognition Service.
to put your own categories in you will have to use a custom field.

in addition to what Jelle explained and technically spoken:
There is no language selection or translation prepared in the database. There is only one "name" field and this is filled with the English expression.
