query with Report: Discovered assets that are not inventoried
Hi we run the 'Discovered assets that are not inventoried' report and it has picked up​ 4 servers that do not have the SNOW agent installed, our team here has checked the servers and it states Installed & Service running, so why is SNOW picking up it isn't installed?

Hi,
did you also check if the machines can send the inventory data to the server?
If they are marked as "not inventoried", the machines usually never sent any data.
Quick check: are there .snowpack files in the "C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Inventory\Agent\data" folder?
What is in the snowagent.log?

We are seeing this issue more and more in our estate as well and already opened a case with Snow (04538994). It looks like it has something to do with the .snowpack. Even though the Snow Inventory File Extractor is able to show the content of the .snowpack it can't be send to in this case the Inventory Gateway server, it times out. And holds all the other .snowpacks which are generated the next day after the system was shutdown and restarted.
