Is there any way to track why a group of computers are not getting copied from Inventory DB to SLM DB, though the Data update job getting executed successfully on a daily basis. The inventory db is getting updated with the latest information for those systems on a daily basis ( Installation , uninstallation scan date ) but post data update job the same is not getting updated ( or inserted) in the SLM DB. Are there any workaround available to run data update job for selected computers and not for entire dataset from inventory DB

Hi @Abhimanyu Mukherjee that shouldn't happen. Also no "workaround" for single machine DUJ's available - pretty much all or nothing...

I would suggest you some proper investigation, maybe trough support. Could have many causes like expired licenses, failing DUJ, misconfiguations, shared identities, duplicates...

    Cheers Oliver

  • You say "a group of computer" ... what proportion are you seeing? less than 1% or much more?

  • There could be multiple reasons for this but the first would be are you at your license limit?

I'd then move on to checking to see if they are simply overwriting/updating other computers information, i've seen this when the agent has been incorrectly configured say in a VDI environment.
