IBM DOMINO SERVER
Hi, everybody,   I imported a CSV file to enter the number of PVUs per core for some computers, so you can see on an application the metrics for PVUs. If you look at the application's compliance tab from the computer, the PVUs per core are entered correctly. While if you look at the application's compliance tab, the compliance for PVUs is 0. How come? Thank you.

  • Hi , I am experiencing the same problem at them moment. May I ask you which version of SLM and Snow Inventory you are using? Has the problem already been solved? ‌ can you maybe jump in and check if there is a problem with PVU compliance at the moment? Best regards, Rainer
    • Hi Rainer, Unfortunately, they told me, that by importing the CSV file this data can only be used as visual information. So not usable for compliance. Lorenzo

Hi ‌, the very first question regarding "I imported a CSV" is: How did you import that data? Through ILMT connector in Snow Integration Manager? IBM PVU will be taken into account of compliance calculation if the application is installed on the device and properly recognized. So, the next interesting question is: Do you see the installation of "IBM Domino Server 10.0" on the above device "traveler-p" in your screenshot? The third thing what is slightly irritating is that you configured multiple metrics on "IBM Domino Server 10.0" . If you import PVU values through ILMT connector in Snow Integration Manager the metrics of the applications affected will be set to PVU only automatically by default. Did you change the metric settings of the application? If so, could you please explain the reason to set it to multiple metrics? Thanks a lot for deeper understanding. To help, such PVU metrics based application compliance calcualtion should look like this if everything is running as it should:

    • Hi Michael,   I have imported the various data concerning the PVU via manual input of a CSV file. For the second question: I see IBM Domino Server 10.0 on my device. For the question of double metrics, it would be very convenient for me. The reason is very simple: with IBM Domino Server installed, we in the company have the Servers in two ways. Those managed for the first organization are licensed through another IBM license per authorized user. Those for the second organization are licensed with a second license for PVU. Therefore, it would be useful to insert a double metric, if it would be possible to also double license on a single application. I hope I have explained myself.   Thank you Lorenzo

Hi Lorenzo, if you like the PVU metrics calculation to work properly, please use the ILMT/Bigfix connector to import data from ILMT/CSV in regards of PVU. There are several mechanisms and logics in this connector. BR Michael
