How can I preconfigure Email settings with Android EMM work profile?

How can I preconfigure Email settings with Android EMM work Profile?

If I configure the Mail App manually on my Android smartphone its working fine. But when I try it with “Exchange provisioning” via SDM then it fails and I get a failure message “No supported mail clients found on device. Configuration cannot be set (-1)”. Any ideas?

Hi Dietmar Exchange provisioning is only available for Samsung or Sony devices, and when you use "Work profile" then you cannot use the built in email clients. The way to do it with Android EMM is to use a configurable Email client like Gmail or Outlook. Search https://play.google.com/work for the mail client you want, when you find it make sure it has the information: " This app offers managed configuration" and approve the app Then open SDM and open the APP There in the configuration tab, you can configure the Exchange settings and deploy it to your devices: Br Magnus
