Hi, does anyone know if java installations discovered by snow agents are imbedded, i.e. if it comes with the SW at no additional cost to the customer?

Hi danieli

our Agents for Linux, MacOs and Windows don't need Java

For our Unix Agent, Oracle DB scanner, Oracle Hardware scanner, Oracle Middleware scanner, Java scanner you need java.
Snow does not supply Java software (JDK/JRE ). Snow Inventory (snowsoftware.com)
