CFichte asked a question.
Hello Snow, i want to assign multiple Applications to one License. Is that possible? Let me make an example. We have for Cortex XDR several Applications installed, which all of them need a license. But we have bought just one license for all.
I suspect the product you are talking about is Cortex XDR Pro which is a bundle of multiple applications. in this case you apply the license to the bundle which then automatically covers you for all products in the bundle.
Problem solved, thank you very much.
I got another Question,
overall i added 2200 licenses for Cortex XDR 7.8 Pro per Endpoint Bundle.
When i look at this marked tool i got this
have you recalculated your compliance? When you make changes to your licenses the system will need to recalculate the numbers for you. By default the system will recalculate automatically every hour on the hour however you can also do this manually by clicking on recalculate compliance in the top right of the screen.
Yes i did this several times.
Bundles require a full DUJ to work properly. Recalc is only for new license and metric changes.
Wait for the next DUJ.
I ran a DUJ manually, but sadly it changed nothing.
Hello CHF,
looking to your screenshoot, i would say, that your bundle licenses lack 7.8
upgrade rights or the 7.8 apps lacks a an upgrade path in the software catalog.
i had this effect in the past due to overlapping bundles/applications. Did you experiment with various bundles?Sometimes SRS also changes to the SLM apps catalog could effect manually created bundles.Your issue is probably connected to applications, which are "not included in the bundle" yet. Perhaps they are part of another existing stock or manual bundle? Please try to re-create your bundle with only the minimum required SLM applications(the once with installations) and see if this works.I have asked one of our licensing experts to reach out and take a look for you.
Kind regards,
Jelle
