Oracle auto-assign
Hi community,
Oracle auto-assign is not working properly for all dc. We have to do manual assignment. is there a solution to this?
Another question is, although there are enough licenses and dc is compliant, some hosts remain in the not compliant status.
To fix this, it is necessary to click on the server from the License assignments tab and assign the problematic host one by one.
Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
Previously, it was informed that it would be sufficient to license only the dc, is this information wrong?
How should we assign oracle licenses?

Auto-assignment does use the default Oracle rules for Processor assignments. Depending on the 'calculation' for your hardware, there may be an element which is causing the system to not be able to fully conclude the license requirement for your system to complete the auto-assignment.
The second part of your statement seems to be related to first part of your question. Because auto-assignment isn't working for those systems, you're having to go into them manually to complete the assignments to get them to be "Compliant."
To Jelle's point, please connect with your account manager to connect with us. It would be interesting to understand what set of variations of hardware you're working with which causes the auto-assignment and manual adjustment to need attention.
