Portal User asked a question.
I am looking to develop a checklist that our procurement team can complete with a software vendor's assistance to capture the conditions around the license. Many times, the procurement activities have been completed by staff that do not have the necessary knowledge to ensure license suitability and they have locked us into a purchase of a license type that is not necessarily fit for purpose.
Does anyone have an example of a checklist they use that captures the details require to configure a license correctly?
Things like:
- metrics
- Downgrade
- manufacturer SKU's
- downgrade rights and number of past editions applicable
- cross edition and platform rights
I am sure there is more than can be captured to ensure the correct configuration, so I would love to see some of your examples.
