I know that an application goes orange when it has been detected in the metering period but has been uninstalled (or at least not detected on the last scan) and that blacklisted software is red.

What happens when its both blacklisted and has been uninstalled within the metering period? Is there a different colour? Is there a way of checking? Does one supersede the other?
