Hey Everybody,
I would like to ask some help to understand how I could manager licenses owned by an end customer and used on a shared enviroment in our data center. We are a service provider and we need to control all licenses that are coming from customer volume agreement. We have more than one scenario.
At the first one, the end customer has a dedicated enviroment and we need to import his licenses to Snow, assign this licenses to his hosts and than export a compliance report, for this case we need to be able to identify which licenses are comming from end costumer´s volume license agreement and which ones are comming from our SPLA Agreement report.
The second scenario is about the license mobility option, when the end customers need to use their owned licenses on a shared enviroment. As a service provider, we need to manager a operacional process validated by Microsoft and for this case we also need to indentify which licenses were approved by them and which ones are comming from our SPLA Agreement report.
Is there any suggestion of a best practice to deal with this kind of management?

The license mobility rules are clear for us, but the question is: Is there a way to manager e control the compliance on Snow Platform, when customer brings his own license?
Acttualy, We need to register his license entitlements on Snow and assign to his host and than export a compliance summary report, for exemplo.
But, in a hibrid scenario, how could I separet the licenses comming from Customer´s agreement and licenses reported by SPLA contract?
I Would like to know if others Service Providers are to able to use Snow Platform to manager all license mobility lifecicle and if yes, I would like to how.

Please reach out to your Snow Partner Manager or to the regional Snow professional services team(in your case based in Austin). I would recommend some time with one of our license consultants to run through the different scenarios to enable you.
