Hi, I would need an explanation on why Microsoft Visio is monitored in various/several ways for a single computer. For example with both Visio Online Plan 2 AND Visio 2016 Professional.

Sometimes also with Visio 2016 Professional and Visio 2016. I suppose that has to do with the installation/download of the software and which Product ID that is used. But it would be great to get a clear explanation.

I think this got answered a few weeks ago here: Did anything change with Visio 2016 recognition recently? (snowsoftware.com)

It comes down to both the subscription and the fact you download the software so end up being able to see people who only have the Plan assigned to them but no software installed.
i.e. they are no using the license given to them so you can reharvest it.
