What does the Snow Optimizer for SAP Software Hana connector allow?
Hello! Please help on SOS:
Our company is interested to use the Hana DB connector in Snow Optimizer for SAP Software 2.2. Our IT security is wondering for which purpose the Hana User priviledges are needed and which kind data can be changed in the Hana DB via SOS?
SOS User Guido 2019-04-30 Page 19 states that in Hana DB "user master data" could be edited, but we would like to understand all Hana edit options in SOS before we connect SOS to our Hana DBs.
Who is using SOS with HDB connector and can provide details and experience?

Hi,
user master data changes from SOS in a HANA DB are possible for the valid-from date and the valid-to date of the user account. You can also change the license type of the user in SOS, but that change is only locally in SOS, because this is not a native field in HANA user data.
