Applying an Software Owner
Is there a way to apply a System Owner to an entire software manufacturer such as Adobe or Microsoft, without having to apply it to each individual application title?

- tprobinsIs this for the Application only? Because we do have that in Snow already. What I am trying to do is avoid needing to add this information in for each individual application. We have several applications under one Manufacturer, as you can imagine. Having to add the owner in for each one would be so time consuming it would be impossible to accomplish. In our organization, a different person typically oversees and manages a different software manufacturer. I would like to attach this internal Software Owner, to the Manufacturer they oversee so that it populates in their name, automatically for each application.Expand Post
- SamuelBaughanYes, I was thinking of using SQL because I think there is no way to do what you need out of the box. But what you say makes sense, so using this stored procedure could help you fix this at once ... although I am pretty sure that updating the field directly (bypassing the stored procedure) would work and be much faster and easier to code (but this is my own opinion and I am not encouraging you to do it in any way )Expand Post
