SMACC SnowInventory not visible

Hello,

I have the problem that I cannot connect to the SnowInventory in the SMACC. When I add a new database connection, I only see the License Manager and not the Snow Inventory at "Product". But LicenseManager + Snow Inventory work without problems and process inventory correctly. The SQL Server is also reachable. Unfortunately I cannot attach a screenshot.

Hi Mathias, The SMACC for Inventory and SLM are 2 plugins made for a same console (just like for the Windows MMC.exe console) The plugins are installed separately so, although it is technically possible, it requires some manual transfer of files to have both plugins in the same console. I know that ‌ managed to get it to work.

  Hi, I think what I did was follow these instructions . You have to be careful to copy the files exactly as described. But it did allow me to have Snow Inventory and SLM in one SMACC. But you'll also need to do updates manually because there's no SUS for this situation. The lack of automatic updates can be a problem. I hope that helps though. Thanks, David
