Application showing Installed

I've ran into an instance where Snow is reporting Excel 2013 is installed on the computer system but when I log on I only find Office 2010 installed. I checked the program files folder as well and do not find excel 2013 installed.

How can I remove this?

Hi ‌, please use our new report 'Files per computer' to find out which file is triggering the application to appear as installed. Then remove this file if not needed.   /marcel Customer Success Manager Did someone answer your question? Make sure to mark it as answered! Welcome to Snow! Discover more here:
    • Hi Marcel, Is this the latest version of SLM? coz i never found this column attribute(Executable path file) in the Report section of existing version of SLM. However, we can get this details in Identifiable files tab under Edit Computer, but couldn't export it. Please suggest if there is any custom way to get this option to the report section in order to get this details exported. Regards Bineeth

Hi ‌, you will need Snow License Manager 9.2.0 to have this report available. If you want to get further information regarding an upgrade, please read through this blog post: How to prepare for the SLM9 upgrade You will need a license for your upgrade, which is provided to you free of charge, if you are under current maintenance. Please reach out to your Account Manager in this matter. It is highly recommended to perform an upgrade between major versions with Snow or with a certified partner to make sure that your environment is prepared and no issues will occur. /marcel Customer Success Manager Did someone answer your question? • Even i came across this same issue w.r.t MS Project Professional. This mostly happens when we auto upgrade/Downgrade of edition/version of license without removing the existing one.  Best way is to first uninstall existing MS Office suite (through SCCM - most recommended) and install fresh new upgraded version or edition for the same. Post which please check, it will discover the correct line item.
