License Assignments

I think I'm in way over my head here.. I got my MLS and MPSA licenses imported yesterday and I've been working on assigning them to the servers that they were purchased for. I keep running into issues where I cannot assign the server to the license. I'm not sure how I figure out why they aren't working. For instance I have 4 licenses (2 core pack) of SQL Server 2014 Standard Core. When I assign it to my server with SQL Server 2014 Standard, snow is reporting No eligible application installed. Your license is assigned to "Standard Core" but Snow does not actually recognize this. The application detected is "Standard", so may tick the "Cross-Edition Rights" tickbox on the Core licenses but it will mess things up if you also have "Enterprise" Licenses. This SQL thing is my next battle. If you have some positive results from your tests, please share

    Great Happy it helped you. Again, just make sure that your Standard Licenses do not transfer to your Enterprise instances (if you have any) If happy with the result, you can mark the post as answered
