Delete Metering Information

Hello everybody,

Is it possible to manage or delete metering information separately next to the inventory?

I have activated metering with the agent. Is there a setting where the metering information of the inventories can be deleted after X days?

Hi ‌, Perhaps you might find this thread quite interesting . I have been looking into this recently. In Snow Inventory activating the garbage collector helps a lot. But in SLM there doesn't seem to be anything similar, so I've added this onto the ideas board . I hope that helps... Regards, David

  Hello David, Thanks for your answer. I think Snow will already have something about Datatabse Maintenance. Or do you think Snow will save all data for all times? Best regards Mathias

    Hi Mathias , With Snow Inventory the garbage collection seems to work well. However, for SLM I don't think there is a similar process. We have just had to remove many millions of rows of data from tblApplicationConcurrency because it was getting huge. Our experience is that it stays forever unless we manually clear it down. We have now added a custom step to the end of our DUJ to do this automatically. We had to be careful to do it without filling up the transaction log. So hopefully that will help us in the future.
