What is the correct way to manage oracle entitlements in snow ?

I know about creating orders and then attaching the available entitlements with the order and attaching servers with entitlements by their csi numbers. This is a manual process and in case of large entitlement data this can be tedious .Is there a faster way to do it?any template ? Is there a different approach to it ??

Hi Nishant, As per the experience I have, I exactly do the same as you do. Meaning these kind of administrative activities could be tedious. Personally, I link it to the fact Oracle is often complex. Hence, adding your entitlements 'easily' is quite a challenge... However, may be fiddling around with "license assignment import" feature may make your life a bit easier. Best regards, Detlev Schigt

  Yeah, it is very tedious and if the entitlements are too much then it is time consuming , i think creating orders for database products is good enough as we can attach servers there too. For middleware and applications ,i think i would like to play around with license assignment import tab,since we cannot tag the servers for them. Let's see what happens , will keep you updated.
