User per Remote Server Report?

Hi, I would need a report similar to "Devices per Remote Server" but "User per Remote Server"? Is this somehow possible? The "Devices per Remote Server" report only shows the last user on a device.# This would help calculating RDS #User CAL demand (not exactly of course ;- ) thx Lambert

Hi Huber, the Report you are asking is not out of the box in SLM. But this can be managed with a custom report. For more details ask your local Support or you build your own custom Report: https://community.snowsoftware.com/docs/DOC-1283-adding-custom-sql-reports-in-snow-license-manager

Hello ?, you can get the total count of all users accessing an application with the prefix "TS-", thus accessing applications via Remote Desktop on RDP Servers using the standard report "applications per user". Filter the report with criteria "application like TS-%". Then group the result by column "user name". The total count of users is then displayed in bottom left corner as "xxx items": This could also help to get an idea on the total count of needed RDS user CAL. Best regards, Michael

  Good point ‌, I just want to add that some users could be using several accounts (maybe depending on the resources they need to access or the privileges they require). So one might still need a filter to de-duplicate users. We do that using a unique identifier per physical person rather than by user account. Also, this report might still bring back applications that were used on a normal desktop (from a device) rather than on an RDS this was fixed recently in Snow Inventory 6.
