Identifying evidence of installed application in a report

Does anyone know whether a report exists to not only identify which device an application is installed on, but also which inventoried program files/registry keys were linked to the application?

We are able to run a report to identify applications installed on a device. Additionally, we would like to provide evidence of the program files/registry keys that led to the application being identified as installed.

Application definitions exist in SMACC, but we do not want to manually lookup after running our report. Hoping someone has thoughts on how to link the application definition to a report! Appreciate your assistance.

Morning Julie, I would do this using Snow Inventory rather than the web interface, if you go into Snow Inventory and then select "Devices" you are going to want to Add a view. Click the "Add View" button and it will prompt you to name the view you are setting so i would put in the name of software you are looking for. Next you are going to want to select the columns that you want to view for this example i selected the Device\Computer name, Software\Software Name, Software\SW Full Version and finally the Software\SW Path Name as shown below. There are a lot of things that you can use to show so take your time in building the report to how you want it to look. The next part is the filter i selected the Software\Software Name and added Google Chrome in for this example, i also wanted to exclude anything that was a Virtual machine. As shown below: After saving this will return you back to the view screen and if the Inventory has found entries that match your filters you will see the records listed.   Hello , This is the way to get this information. SLM will not contain this data because it is normalized during the Data Update Job.
