Push MAC Client using SNOW Inv Server

I looked through all the old SNOW MAC discussions and didn't find anything that answered my question. So I'll ask, sorry if this is a repeat.

I see some MAC's through SNOW Inventory SMACC discovery. I try to create a deployment to them but the MAC Agent is not listed under Inventory Agent - Select a Package to deploy, only the Win32 | 0 | xx.xx.xx packages.

MAC OSX 6.0.1 Shows up as latest client on the SMACC Overview page. How does it get to the Select a Package point?

Hi Mark, the capability to deploy agents to new endpoints is only available for the windows platform. You can update an existing deployed MacOS agent using SMACC, however not deploy to a new machine. A good idea would be to create an idea on the to cover off this functionality

  Hi ‌, I did not see anything about deploying the agent to new Windows endpoints. Could you please point me to the relevant documentation or indicate how this is done? Thanks a lot!

    ‌ it is covered off within the User Guide: Snow Inventory Admin Console , which is accessible via the knowledge base or directly within the SMACC. Look for the section called 4.4 Deploy an Agent.
