BMC discovery vs FNMS agent

We are contemplating removing our FNMS agents and consuming BMC discovery data instead.  The reason is BMC has more reach to devices, FNMS agent support, etc.  I am wondering if anyone on this forum has done this or has any advice.  I am in the process of comparing discovery data from both sources to compare the differences but again wondering if anyone has any knowledge on this topic.

I don't know of a direct comparison of the FlexNet inventory agent specifically to BMC Discovery, but the following post may help: The big choice for gathering inventory: the FlexNet inventory agent or tool "XYZ"?
