  1. UX Enhancements and Advanced Query Builder mode for AI GraphQL Query Generator

We’re empowering our customers to build complex GraphQL Queries by releasing the Advanced Query Builder mode (now in an Early Access program) along with focused set of UX and GraphQL AI Model improvements to the Technology Intelligence Platform’s AI GraphQL Query generator, to lower the learning curve and improve task completion time.

Note: As the Advanced Query Builder mode is in Early access program with limited participation, please reach out to your CSM or Flexera Support to enable this feature.

    Before Scenarios

    • GraphQL Editor UI includes unused controls such as multi-tab “+”, settings etc., that distract from the core task.
    • No immediate affirmation that a table was rendered below the fold, after clicking Generate Table
    • CSV downloads are generically named, making file management and sharing harder.
    • No step by step way to iteratively build on a skeleton.

    Negative Consequences

    • Steep learning curve reduces adoption of GraphQL features.
    • Longer time to insight due to trial and error query authoring.

    After Scenarios

    • Users start with a natural language prompt that can be optionally mixed with a GraphQL query
    • Advanced Query Builder mode informs the AI model to focus on the dataset referenced by the current query and supports incremental, conversational modifications
    • Users informed about table generation through toaster
    • GraphQL Editor UI is streamlined (multi-tab “+” and settings icon hidden).
    • CSV files are auto-named using the use-case/prompt, improving organization and shareability.

    Positive Business Outcomes

    • Higher adoption & activation: Reduced friction to successfully building complex queries through Advanced Query Builder mode.
    • Faster time-to-value: Conversational edits shorten time to generate a complex query
    • Improved sharing: Descriptive CSV names reduce ambiguity and rework.

  2. Launched GraphQL AI Query Generator

We’re excited to announce the release of GraphQL AI Query Generator, a powerful new capability in Flexera One IT Visibility with Technology Intelligence Platform that makes querying your hybrid IT estate faster, easier and more intuitive than ever.

From code to conversation: AI-powered query generation

GraphQL has long been a favorite for business users and developers who want precise, efficient access to data across Flexera One. But writing GraphQL queries takes time, skill and a bit of trial and error.

Now, the AI writes the queries for you. With GraphQL Query Generator you can use natural-language processing to build, tweak and run queries. Just describe what you need and the AI handles the rest. You’ll get results in seconds, ready to download or view directly in the interface.

    Key capabilities at a glance:

    • Natural language “Query AI”: Simply type a plain-English request— For example, “List of devices with Oracle Installed”—and the generator produces valid GraphQL instantly, eliminating manual syntax work.
    • Built-in data-model explorer: A documentation pane lets you browse the unified object model (UOM) to discover entities and relationships before you query, so there’s no need for time-consuming schema digging.
    • Embedded IDE with history. The in-browser GraphQL editor supports editing, prettifying, and recalling recent queries.
    • Instant results preview & CSV export. Run your query, see the JSON or table immediately, then export to CSV for deeper analysis or reporting.
    • Foundational Step for the AI Roadmap: This feature represents a key component of the TI Platform’s AI Roadmap, as the AI model developed here will serve as the basis for the development of additional AI-native capabilities in the future.

    Customer Impact:

    • Reduces the analysis time: AI handles the syntax so business users can focus on insights rather than code.
    • Democratizes complex data. Even teams with zero GraphQL experience can use AI to create GraphQL queries for datasets such as device, software, VMHost, business service and catalog.
    • Speeds decision-making: These queries can be used in automated scripts to get data out of the TI Platform
