Unable to connect to new Flexnet License Server

Hi All.. Wonder if I am I missing something obvious.

I've setup a new Flexnet License Server on an existing workstation, installed it as a service and enabled Windows Firewall to allow inbound connection on Port 27000-27010.

I've activated my concurrent AdminStudio 2026 licenses and are able to launch a local copy of AdminStudio and activate a license on the same box as the license server.

However unable to connect to the license server from a remote device?

    Hi Team,

    Could you please check whether you can ping from the machine where the AdminStudio License server is installed to the Remote machine, and vice versa?

    If you are still experiencing the issue, please let me know your account details or email address so I can schedule a Microsoft Teams meeting to look into it further.

  • Ping is OK.. I have got it working now.. Not sure which of the various Firewall tweaks was the one.

    I am now able to launch AdminStudio and obtain a concurrent license from the server.

    Problem resolved.
