windows media player 10 and uninstall/rollback
has anyone come up with a way to perform a silent uninstall/rollback of microsoft windows media player 10? i'm using the command setup_wm.exe /Uninstall but it always prompts with windows to continue the rollback.

  • Don't use the .exe. Extract or rebuild into an .msi and then use the /i /qn for a silent install and /x /qn for a silent uninstall. I thought Media Player 10 was distributed as an .msi anyway?

i created an MSI file for Windows Media Player 10 using the EDP tool from Microsoft. I tried an uninstall by using the MSI command line, "msiexec.exe /x productcode". It did not uninstall or rollback.
