The process to add a cert for SLM is much simpler as it is all handled through IIS. (you don't need to know the app id).

I have attached a link to an external site which walks you through the steps of creating a certificate and then adding it to IIS.

This is how to do it for a digicert on IIS 10 - but the process is pretty much the same no matter what Certificate provider or version of IIS you are using.

Whne you get to step 2.8 you need to add the port 443 Binding to the Snow License Manager site
